Homemade Pizzas Using Nello's Marinara Sauce

Hey! This was our first time making pizzas on the grill. They were absolutely delish! Thanks to Nello's Marinara Sauce,  of course! I swear, this sauce is good on ANYTHING! Is there a such thing as a sauce martini? Haha, I'd sooo try one! Hmm...

I started out making my own, homemade pizza dough. Using NO yeast.

Fresh tomato, mozzarella and fresh basil pizza! Om!

Delish! Nello's Marinara! Pure awesomeness! This Marinara could not get any better! It just soaks right into the dough, making the pizza so flavorful.

Dough Recipe:

  • 2 1/2 cups Flour (I used Bob's Red Mill Organic White All- Purpose Unbleached Flour)
  • 2 3/4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 3/4- 1 cup water
Mix dry ingredients in a stand mixer using a dough hook. Add 3/4 cup water and oil. Stir until it forms until it forms into a ball. If dough is stiff, add more water.

The dough will be soft, not sticky. Knead on a floured surface for 3-4 minutes. If not using right away, refrigerate. Let dough come to room temperature before using.

Roll out to desired size and shape. I got four eight inch pizzas out of the recipe. Add Nello's Marinara Sauce and other desired toppings!

If not using your grill, bake at 400° for 15-25 minutes.

ENJOY!

Pizza ingredients I used- Fresh Mozzarella, homegrown basil, tomatoes!
