2 teaspoons Raw cacao powder
1 cup milk (almond, coconut, cows, cashew)
sweetener of your choice (I used Sugar in the Raw, 1 teaspoon)
Pour milk into a microwave safe cup. Add cacao powder and sugar(if desired). Mix until the cacao powder is mixed in, but not all the way. Warming the cocoa up in the microwave will allow the cacao powder to blend better. Warm in microwave for 1-2 minutes. Top with marshmallows or cinnamon. Enjoy!
My Thoughts
I opened the bag and all I smelled was pure, deliciousness! I could tell right away that this cacao powder was going to be good. This cacao powder is not bitter whatsoever. It is also not gritty. it's finely ground and does not have any clumps in it. It bakes well. It blends well into a smoothie. I'd say that it's something that you should always have on hand. Especially now that it's getting cold. The cacao powder makes the best hot cocoa! (Recipe above). If you are trying to satisfy your sweet tooth without the added calories, or sugar, try this organic, natural cacao powder! I recommend it.
