Turkey Pizza Pinwheels Featuring Nello's Lavender Sauce

Hello, all! With Thanksgiving Day being tomorrow, why not make these cute and easy Turkey Pizza Pinwheels as an appetizer! You only need a few ingredients to bring these Turkeys to life. Nello's Lavender Sauce is the perfect match for these little guys. Everyone will love them!

 

Turkey Pizza Pinwheels Featuring Nello's Lavender Sauce

 

Ingredients

 

1 pound pizza dough

1 25 oz. jar of Nello's Lavender Sauce

Black Olives; cut into small pieces

Small Onion; sliced into discs

Slices of cooked bacon

Carrots; sliced into small triangles

Mozzarella Cheese

Cooking Spray or Flour

Toppings of your choice

 

 

Directions

 

 

 

1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Spray countertop with non-stick cooking spray or sprinkle with flour. Roll the dough out into a large rectangle about 1/4 inch thick.

 

 

2. Top with Nello's Lavender Sauce. (I used about half a jar) Spread to coat dough then add mozzarella and additional toppings of your choice.

3. Start with one of the long sides of the rectangle and roll dough up tightly, pinching the seams to close at the end.

 

4. Use a sharp, thin knife to cut 1 1/2 inch sections of the dough from the large roll. You should get about 12 pinwheels.

5. Put pinwheels on a greased baking sheet. Bake for 12-15 minutes. Remove from oven and let sit for 1-2 minutes.

 6. Stick a few pieces of bacon into the back of each pinwheel. Put small two small circles of sliced onion in front of the bacon pieces and then top with black olives for the eyes. Finish with a triangular cut carrot for the nose. Serve with a side of warm Nello's Lavender Sauce.

For my first time making these, they came out pretty good! Turkey Day doesn't get enough recognition so I figured making these would be a good way to get everyone into the holiday season. My son enjoyed helping me roll out the dough. Cooking together with your family is a great way to bond as well as teach your kids how important it is to cook homemade meals. These Turkey Pizza Pinwheels are great for a quick weekday meal. I hope you enjoy them. I wish all of you a great Thanksgiving :)

Turkey Stuffed Peppers Featuring Nello's Marinara Sauce

 

Hello! I am back with another awesome recipe featuring Nello's Marinara Sauce. I made these peppers forever ago and I forgot to post my recipe! I know, shame on me :( I made Turkey Stuffed Peppers! Who else loves Stuffed Peppers?

 

 

 Turkey Stuffed Peppers Featuring Nello's Marinara Sauce 

 

Ingredients

1 pound ground turkey meat
4 green peppers, cored and seeds removed
2 bags of Boil In Bag Rice
1 jar Nello's Marinara Sauce
1 egg
2 tbsp. bread crumbs
1/2 tsp. Thyme
1 tsp. Adobo Seasoning
Parmesan Cheese

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cook rice according to directions on the package. Combine all of the ingredients into a large bowl. Mix all of the ingredients until they are well combined. (I use my hands)
2. Fill the cored peppers until they're all the way full. Top with Nello's Marinara Sauce and Parmesan Cheese.
3. Bake in the oven for 1- 1/2 hours. Remove and top with additional sauce or parmesan cheese.
4. Enjoy!!

The finished product :) I love making and eating Stuffed Peppers. I find myself making these at least two times a month. They never go to waste. They're so yummy! Topping them with Nello's Marinara Sauce makes them so much more tastier. Nello's Marinara Sauce is the best sauce for any dish! Visit Nello's Store Locator to find a jar near you! Happy Friday! Today, I share with you two meals from Hungryroot! Hungryroot's meals are quick, fresh and guiltless! Read below to find out more about Hungryroot's Carrot Noodles and Turnip Noodles!

 

Carrot Noodles with Tangy Sriracha Peanut

 

 

Let's start with the Carrot Noodles with Tangy Sriracha Peanut. Fresh-cut carrot noodles with our homemade Sriracha peanut sauce, lime-cilantro chimichurri and sweet pickled daikon. This meal has a lot of Vitamin A and is a sweet and spicy alternative to Pad Thai. This meal is Gluten-free and dairy-free. Contains 498 calories per container. Can be purchased with or without chicken. Adding chicken is an extra $2 charge.

 Turnip Noodles with Toasted Walnut Pesto

 

Fresh-cut turnip noodles with our homemade basil walnut pesto, peppered roasted carrots and toasted, chopped chickpeas. A low carb Pesto Pasta. This meal contains a great source of Vitamin C & A, dietary fiber and calcium. This Turnip Noodle meal is gluten-free. Contains 449 calories per container. Add Falafel to this meal for an extra $2.

My Thoughts

These meals are healthy and delicious. Even though these are meals, I use both of them as side dishes. They are super easy to prepare and are ready in 7 minutes or less. You can either warm the meals on a stove top or in the microwave. I warmed mine up in the microwave. They came out perfectly. Both meals were very flavorful. Just the noodles themselves were good. Then, adding the sauces made them even better. Hungryroot's meals make lunch or dinner time simple.

I like both meals, but, I enjoyed the Carrot Noodles more. I liked the peanut sauce and the pickled daikon. The noodles were crunchy and appetizing. The Turnip Noodles were a little bit too bitter for me. I added a little bit of parmesan cheese to the top of the Turnip Noodles and that made them less bitter. I really enjoyed the roasted chickpeas on top of the Turnip Noodles.

Microwave instructions:

Peel back the plastic on the container. Top noodles with sauces and 2 tbsps. of water. Heat on high for 3 minutes, mix then cook an additional 1-2 minutes. Finish with salt/pepper to taste and chickpeas or pickled daikon.

My Thoughts

Shopping at Giant is always a pleasant experience. I called the location nearest to me to see if they had WaterWipes in stock before I went. The woman that I spoke to was very helpful. She went to check to see if Giant carried the wipes and to see if they were in stock. Arriving at the store, I knew exactly where the bay aisle was because I shop at this location frequently. The wipes were easy to find on the shelf. Available at this location were the 60 count packs as well as packs of 240 wipes. The wipes were well stocked.

 

I am in love with these wipes! They are super soft. I used them to wipe my hands to test how they felt on my skin. The wipes are gentle. Not scratchy at all. I noticed that the water left on my skin after wiping dried quickly. WaterWipes did not leave my hand feeling greasy. They left my hands feeling clean and moisturized. They cleaned my babies bottom well. I have noticed no redness on my babies bottom after wiping it with WaterWipes. No irritation occurred. I am a huge fan of Waterwipes and I will NOT buy any other brand of wipe again! :) I recommend these wipes! I believe that they should be in every hospital in the U.S. Having WaterWipes available, instead of pieces of cloth that you have to wet yourself, would be so much more convenient for new moms.

This is a great album.  Seal's voice is nice and calming. songs I like- Every Time I'm With You and Do You Ever. These two songs are easy to sing a long with. Directions 

 

Wash face and neck using your favorite cleanser. Mix one teaspoon Face Lift Powder with one teaspoon Face Lift Activator. Mix until you have the consistency of a thin lotion. Apply to face in an upward-outward motion with fingers or brush on, in a light, even coat. Leave on for 30 minutes. To remove, wipe away with a damp cloth, them thoroughly rinse your face and neck with warm water. Use once every three to five days.

 

 

My Thoughts

These two products mixed together are genius! Mixing them was easy and from the second I started applying the mixture, I could feel the mixture drying an then start to tighten. It made my face feel like it was super dry. After about 30 minutes, I couldn't take the tightness anymore so I removed the mask. It was hard to get off and I found myself going back into the bathroom to re-rinse my face. I did this 3-4 times before the mixture was all the way off. But, I have to admit, I had two kiddos running around so it was hard for me to really take my time and get it all off in one shot.

My face was soft and noticeably tighter after using the mask. My face stayed soft and tight for most of the day. I really liked how it diminished the look of my double chin. I am glad that the mask does not have a scent to it. I would pick this over botox any day! And, it's A LOT cheaper!
