My Thoughts

This hardcover book is 32 pages long and is full of color and wonder. The Legend of the Easter Robin taught my sons as to how the robin got its red breast. This is a great book to read to your children around the time of Easter to remind them as to why we celebrate Easter. Seeing Tressa coloring Easter eggs shows us that it's okay for us to have our own Easter traditions.

My boys loved the colorful pages and cute puppy that was on a lot of the pages. The illustrations really make the story come to life. The cover of the book immediately caught my eye. The book is beautifully written. I really enjoyed reading this book to them. Read this book with your family on Easter Day. :)

At the end of the book, the author shares with us a more detailed version of the old Pennsylvania Dutch Tale.

Smithsonian's National Air and Space Museum- Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center in Chantilly, VA

 

 

 Hello! Welcome to A Sampling Bee! Today, I share with you our trip to the Air and Space Museum in Chantilly, VA. If you love planes and their history, this is the place to visit. The Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center consists of two huge hangars. There is the Boeing Aviation Hangar and the James S. McDonnell Space Hangar. These hangars display thousands of aviation and space artifacts.

This Museum is one of nineteen Smithsonian Museums. At the National Air and Space Museum, you can see exhibits such as Business Aviation, Cold War Aviation, Human Spaceflight, Korea and Vietnam Aviation and Modern Military Aviation. To name a few. Some of the planes on exhibit are a Lockhead SR-71, a Concorde and the space shuttle Discovery. The center also has an IMAX theater and an Observation Tower which gives you a 360-degree bird's-eye view of the surrounding areas. Visible from the tower is Dulles International Airport. Feel your tummy start to growl while your looking at all the planes? No worries.. There is a McDonald's right in the museum!

Here is the Observation Tower and a photo taken from inside the Tower. Facing towards Dulles International Airport. It was really awesome to see the planes landing and taking off.

 

Here is the Lockhead SR- 17 Blackbird that my husband was so thrilled about! Its amazing to know that this plane made it from Los Angeles to Washington, DC in one hour and 4 minutes! Fast!

U.S. Air Force Plane

 

The Space Shuttle, Discovery. To me, this got my attention the most. It was so cool to see. This space shuttle was so much bigger than I imagined and it was so cool to see what the outside of the shuttle was made out of. Truly fascinating.

While on the lower level, look up! You'll see a bunch of planes!

 

 

Our visit was a lot of fun. It was so amazing to see how planes have developed over the years. It was also to be in a place where part of one of the Transformer movies was filmed. The museum has a few pieces on display that you can look at. Including the script, costumes and The All Spark "Sliver". My sons loved sitting inside of a small plane where they got to explore all of the buttons and switches. If you visit the museum during the week, there is a observation deck where you can see workers working on airplanes in the shop. Don't forget to grab a souvenir on the way out from the Museum Store!

 

The museum was clean and the employees were helpful and friendly. There is a lot to see and do at the Air and Space Museum in Virginia. If you are ever in the area, its a must see. Especially for plane lovers.

My Thoughts

I love having wet wipes on hand. I put them in my diaper bag so I can use them on the go. Whether we are home or out, having these wipes makes it much easier to wipe my 3 year olds bottom after he uses the bathroom. I leave a bunch in our bathroom at home as well as in our guest bathroom. These wipes leave no residue, oiliness or lint. They contain just enough wetness to wipe a hiney or messy hands. They are not overly wet and dry quickly. They are soft and gentle enough to use on your face. I love the fact that they are hypoallergenic and that they contain no fragrance. That being said, I like to use them as a makeup remover! I have had no problems nor have I experienced any adverse reactions from using them. I recommend these wipes!

My Thoughts

 

This body suit is awesome. It's soft, easy to put on and easy to take off. I love it because it washes nice. I can't count the number of times where I buy an item of clothing, wash it once and it shrinks or just looks dingy. Not with this oogaa body suit. After several washes it still looks brand new. Stains wash out of it without me having to soak it. The material is chemical free, comfortable and breathable. The monkey design is cute and fun. It's natural fibers provide UV protection which I think is awesome. This body suit makes an awesome outfit.

 

This body suit is great for sensitive skin. It is non-irritant. oogaa's body suit keeps baby dry while keeping bacteria away. This body suit fast drying.

My Thoughts

When I first started using this facial cleanser, I didn't notice much of a difference. After a few days, all the sudden, my face looked clearer! My skin is softer and it just looks healthier. With just a little water, it foams up and is enough to cover my face and neck. I just this cleanser both day and night. By doing so, my skin is clearer, my pores have shrunk and I have less clogged pores. One of the main ingredients of Ocean Mineral Facial Cleanser is Rose Hip Oil, which is a natural acne and eczema treatment, its anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant properties help to soothe the skin. This oil is a safe solution to repair the skin's surface, restore elasticity and protects against sun and pollution stressors that can lead to wrinkles. This is a great oil for dry skin that moisturizes and hydrates. I have been using this cleanser for over a month now and I am not going back to my old cleanser. This one is a keeper!

I love the fact that it is made in the USA. It's all natural and organic. Its a great facial cleanser for everyone. Gentle enough to use every day. I recommend this product. I am in love with OZ Natural's products!

My Thoughts

 

It was a lot of fun making my smoothies each morning. Having the ingredients pre-portioned made it so much more easier for this mom of two! Having everything pre-portioned allowed me to blend up my smoothies quickly. The directions for making each smoothie was easy to follow. Getting this Green Blender box delivered allowed me to try different smoothies. Most of which I would probably not think to make. My smoothie box arrived safely. All of the ingredients were fresh.

 

My two favorite smoothie recipes were the Chocolate Peanut Butter Milkshake and the Coconut Pineapple Mint. My least favorite was the Honey Bok Choy. Each week, one box costs $49.95. I look forward to trying more of Green Blender's smoothies in the future!

My Thoughts

Culinary Corner makes one sturdy spatula. These spatulas are very useful in the kitchen. I use mine to cook eggs, to scrap my mixing bowl and to stir. I use them every day. They are by far the best spatulas that I have ever used. They have held up through a lot of cooking as well as held up to a 1 and a 3 year old playing with them. My 3 year old love to use these spatulas when playing with his Play-doh. My 1 year old likes to steal them and then put them in his play kitchen.

I love the colors of the spatulas. The spatula part is a pretty light blue and the handle is clear. The handle looks like it is glass. But, it is not. I love how the spatula part comes off. The spatula part does not come off easily but that is good because I don't want that part coming off when I am cooking. You just have to give it a good tug. It's a great for cleaning the spatulas.

I give these spatulas a 10! They are awesome! I recommend them!
