My Thoughts

 

I looked at the ingredients list and was able to pronounce every single ingredient. Which  of course made me very happy. Biena has really created an awesome snack. Biena Foods makes it easy to snack on-the-go with their sealable pouch. I find myself snacking on these yummy chickpeas at the beach, while driving and while watching my kiddos play at the park. This is a snack that every one of my family members enjoys. What makes me happy? Knowing that these chickpeas are good for them.

 

My favorite flavors? I have to say that the Honey Roasted is my favorite. The flavor tastes just like eating honey roasted peanuts. My second favorite is the Habanero flavor. I am all about spicy lately and these chickpeas are just that!

 

Biena Foods has come up with a lot of awesome flavors. I have seen a few other chickpea brand out there and their flavors don't match up to Biena's. These are the chickpeas that I will be buying from now on. They are amazing! I highly recommend!

Eboost Energy + Vitamins Powder Review- Spruce Flavor

Welcome to A Sampling Bee! Today, I share with you a pre-workout powder from Eboost. Eboost has a wide range of powders as well as energy shots and apparel. Eboost's products are certified vegan, allergen and gluten free. Pack a few of Eboost's single serve packets in your travel bag, purse or suitcase.

Eboost's newest powder is called Spruce. Spruce is full of energizing whole greens :) Get 3 servings of veggies and 6 grams of fiber per packet. This powder is gluten-free, vegan and allergen free. Spruce contains no added sugar, no artificial flavors, colors or sweeteners and its non-GMO. Spruce contains 5 key green vegetables- kale, spinach, broccoli, asparagus and cabbage. These ingredients are freeze and air-dried and made into powder. Eboost uses only the best ingredients when making their powders.

 

Spruce can be mixed with water, milk, juice and into a smoothie or protein shake. Eboost recommended that I mixed Spruce into some Almond Milk :) Mix one packet with 8-10 ounces of Almond Milk. Shake well. Pour over ice and enjoy!

 

My Thoughts

 

Spruce is a great powder. I took Eboost's advice and mixed a packet with some almond milk and the end results were amazing. The shake was frothy and delicious. I could really taste all of the veggies in the powder. But they were not over powering. The almond milk balances out the vegetable taste giving it a nice sweetness. Each packet contains 50 calories.

 

Spruce really filled me up! I had a full tummy until lunch time and I had energy to chase my two boys around the house. My sons were fighting over my drink. I had to make another one for them to share! I highly recommend Eboost.

My Thoughts

My pups love all of their Hartz goodies. Especially the toys and bones. Keeps them occupied :)  I love the flea and tick repellents because they have been working really well to keep them off my pups.

Right after receiving all of these goodies, our cat passed away. So, our kitty did not get to experience any Hartz products. But, I know he would have loved to have played with the toys as well as gobble down the food. :(

All-in-all, Hartz has amazing products. Hartz products are available at Walmart.

My Thoughts

I really love this subscription box because it goes with my whole "bee" theme :) As you can probably already tell, the products in this box are ah-mazing! Every product is unique and perfect for a bee lover. I personally love anything that has honey in it or that has to do with bees.

The Beeswax Candle smells really good. It burns very clean and very slowly. The Bee Seed Bombs are perfect for planting in your backyard. They will grow into beautiful flowers that'll attract bees. I have not planted mine yet, but I will be soon! I love a good soap and this one from Square One Soapworks is by far one of the best bars of soap I have ever used! It's lightly scented and makes my skin feel so nourished. Love honey in your tea? Add some of this Oregon High Desert Honey to every cup. This honey is really good. It's raw and delicious. And last but not least, there was a delicious Reserve Honey Bar that was to die for! Honey Caramel & Hazelnut Nougat dipped in Dark Chocolate. Need I say more??

I highly recommend The Hive Box. I am in awe by the elegance of this subscription box. It's well put together and beautiful. Contains amazing products!

My Thoughts

 

I love apples smothered in caramel and nuts. These apples are really good! They satisfy that need for a sweet and salty treat. Tastee's Caramel Apples remind me of my childhood. Going to carnivals and fairs :) We know that those kind of activities are available to us all year. But, Tastee Apples to the rescue!

 

The apples are small, but fresh and crispy. Tastee uses granny smith apples. The mixture of the sour apple, sweet caramel and salty peanuts really gets your taste buds going! So yummy :)

I really love this book. It's a book that I can relate to because my Mom loves quilting. Each story in this book is so touching. Seeing all of the beautiful quilts makes me smile. My Mother's Quilts makes a great gift for anyone who loves the art of quilting.

Annie B's Caramels & Popcorn Review

 

 

Happy Thursday! Welcome to A Sampling Bee! Today, I share with you yummy goodies from Annie B's! Annie B's recently sent me some of the caramels and popcorn to review. I sampled 5 of their popcorn flavors as well as 5 different flavors of their caramels. Annie B's also sent me some yummy chocolates! I am a huge fan of all of these goodies :)

 

Annie B's has been handcrafting caramels since 1978. Their goal is to create awesome tasting products that'll make you smile. Tom & Carol, the founders, loved making caramels in their kitchen. They soon realized that they could turn their love for caramels into a business. They named their company after their daughter, Annie. Tom & Carol added popcorn to their product list a few years later and their popcorn was a huge hit!

 

 

Annie B's Caramels are available in more than 20 different flavors. The caramels are slow-cooked in copper kettles. The five flavors I tried were Original, Butter Rum, Chocolate, Cappuccino and Sea Salt. These five delicious flavors were wrapped in a 10 Piece Caramel Bag. $5

 

 

Annie B's Popcorn is available in many different flavors. I got to try the Triple Threat, Caramel, Caramel Sea Salt, Jalapeno Cheddar and sharp cheddar. My Thoughts

 

The caramels are buttery and delicious. As soon as I bite into them, they melt in my mouth. I really love these caramels because they taste amazing and they don't get stuck in my teeth. Every flavor is amazing. These are caramels that my whole family enjoy. I really love the sea salt flavor as well as the original. Each individual caramel is a satisfying size. Perfect for my sweet tooth :)

 

The popcorn is amazing, too. Annie B's sticks to their word when they say "made to order." The popcorn was really fresh and crunchy. Each flavor is unique and delicious. My favorite flavor is the Sea Salt Caramel. This popcorn is covered in caramel and has the lightest hint of sea salt. Writing this post is making my mouth salivate!

 

I highly recommend this company. Great, delicious products! And, the products were shipped to me very quickly.

Litehouse Foods Dinner in Baltimore, MD #SeeTheLite

 

Welcome to A Sampling Bee! Today, I share with you my experience at the Litehouse Foods Dinner Event in Baltimore, MD. This event was for blogger only and it was held at AGGIO. AGGIO is an amazing Italian restaurant located in the heart of Baltimore. When I got invited to this event, I was so excited!

Walking into AGGIO, my first thought was wow, this restaurant is fancy! Walking into the event, I was greeted by Maria, the Vice President of Marketing & Communications for Litehouse Foods. I was also greeted by Kari Ramsey and Rebecca Scritchfield. All wonderful ladies :)

Next, I was greeted by a male waiter who offered me red or white wine. I went with the white.

As I sipped my wine, I met a few fellow bloggers.

 

 

During our dinner, Rebecca, who is a dietician, gave us a live demonstration of how to make her recipe for Zesty Buffalo Ranch Chickpea Sliders. This is a recipe that Rebecca created for the event. Awesome recipe. I cannot wait to give these sliders a try!

 

 

Here is what I had for dinner..

 

A yummy salad with cedar springs greens, pickled spring veggies, English peas and shallots. Featuring Litehouse chunky bleu cheese dressing and homestyle ranch dressing.

 Fresh Beans- Burrata, house made bottarga, lemon, garlic and smoked ricotta salata.

 

Risotto- spring alums and oyster mushrooms.

Chicken Parm 2.0- Burrata, provolone, pomodoro and spaghetti.

For dessert, I had Tiramisu- Espresso, mascarpone, ladyfinger and cocoa.

 

By the time dessert came, I was stuffed! AGGIO's food is amazingly good! I had a lot of fun at this event. Great food and awesome company. I hope to attend an event like this again soon. This was a great experience. A big thanks to Litehouse Foods and Maria :)
