To create a yarn bowl, all you'll need is a few things. An empty salad container, a spray paint in your choice of color and colorful stickers. You will also need some cardboard and a drill, or something to make a small hole in the container.
First, I had my husband drill a small hole in the top of the container. Next, my husband and son spray painted the bottom and top on the container. I let the container dry over night. After the paint dried, my son added some cute beach themed stickers. String your yarn through the hole and voila! A homemade yarn bowl!
Pictured above, is the awesome Spicy Southwest Salad. This salad is full of spicy deliciousness. It contains: Lettuce, tomatoes, spicy grilled chicken, corn & black beans, seasoned tortilla strips, chili lime pepitas and Monterey jack cheese. Topped with a creamy salsa dressing. So yummy.. I eat at least one of these salads a week! :)
