Welcome to A Sampling Bee! Today, I share with you My Honey Crate! My Honey Crate is a monthly subscription box containing the best, natural bee related products. My Honey Crate features small-batched honey from beekeepers and apiaries around the country. Along with the honey, you will find a few other bee themed product. These products include, but are not limited to- candies, chocolates, candles and beeswax goods. #BeeInspired monthly with My Honey Crate! :)

So, what's in the box?..

Wilk Apiary Zip Code Local Honey- The honey in every jar is removed from the hive, hand extracted and bottled by beekeeper, Tom Wilk. This jar of honey came from Tom's neighborhood in New York City!


Sparky's Apiary Pure Beeswax Pumpkin Candle- A beautiful and natural candle that does not contain any added scents. It's dripless and smokeless. This pumpkin candle is long burning and emits a warm sunlight like glow. I love the smell of beeswax.

Maybee's Farm, Soap & Honey's Orange & Honey Beeswax Lip Balm-Maybee's Lip Balms are made from beeswax from their own beehives. As well as from a local beekeeper in Florida. The beeswax is blended with shea butter, mango butter, coconut oil and olive oil or sweet almond  oil.

Heavenly Organics Peanut Chocolate Honey Patties- These Peanut Chocolate Honey Patties are made with 100% cocoa dark chocolate and 100% organic raw white honey. The honey is blended with organic peanuts and a pinch of Himalayan sea salt.


My Honey Crate Honey Straw Sampler, Tote & Stickers- A few added goodies from the awesome people at My Honey Crate. The honey straws allow you to taste a few different honeys from out west. The tote allows you to use less plastic bags on your shopping trip and share the stickers with your friends to help share the My Honey Crate love!

My Honey Crate was created by Nick & Ashley who are rooftop beekeepers in Queens, NY. Their mission is to help bring awareness to not only the honeybees, but to the beekeepers that tend to them. With your subscription, My Honey Crate is able to donate a portion of their proceeds to NYC Beekeeping. These donations are valid from October - December.

My Thoughts

The bee products in this box are awesome. I enjoyed being able to try the different kind of honey. The lip balm smells amazing and I love how it makes my lips feel. The peanut butter patties have a hint of honey and they're out of this world good. All-in-all, My Honey Crate is a wonderful subscription box. I highly recommend!
