My Thoughts

December's box allowed me to make a delicious Italian dinner in under five minutes. Together, the Barilla Read Pasta and the Barilla Sun-dried Tomato Pesto are so good! Add some of the Sfilati and you have a meal! Have some of the Baiocchi for dessert! My favorite product in this month's box was the Ozery Bakery Rounds. I got the Apple Cinnamon Rounds and they are SO good! I toasted mine and added a little butter to the top of them. Did I mention the SuckerPunch Pickles!? OMG, these are the best pickles, ever!! I am planning on serving them as an appetizer on Christmas Day. Along with my cheese board. Getting this box each month is so exciting. I love opening the box each month because each month the box is loaded with yummy goodies.

My Thoughts

Blount Bowls come ready-to-eat so they are perfect for on-the-go. The noodles/rice for the broth come separately and can be added into the broth if desired. I added the noodles or rice to my soups because I enjoy eating my  with a little starch. I was impressed by how easy it was to prepare a Blount Bowl. And, it's hot and ready in under 3 minutes! The four soups each have a unique, awesome flavor. I really enjoyed the Chicken Ramen Noodle and the Vegetable & Rice. I love the bowls because the ingredients are all natural and healthy. The soups are loaded with healthy veggies and antibiotic free chicken. Each bowl is less than 400 calories. Blount Bowls make a great lunch or dinner!

My Thoughts

My family and I are huge fans of anything National Geographic. We particularly love the books that are available for children. Hey, Baby! is one of the cutest and factual books. The book is big, colorful and has sturdy pages. I love reading it to my kiddos because its teaches them all about nature's baby animals. While reading, I couldn't count how many times we all said "awww" when we turned the page. Seeing all of the baby animals made us want to keep reading. My kids really enjoyed learning about their habitats, friendships, folktales and animal rescues. I look forward to reading Hey, Baby! over and over again!

 My Thoughts

Back To Nature makes one delicious cookie! These cookies are loaded with chunk of chocolate and are oh so crunchy. I love eating them right out of the box or dipping them into a cold glass of milk. The cookies are bite-sized and perfect for kids. My son loves when I put a few of these cookies into his lunch box for school. I have never had a cookie before that was made with wheat flour. I must say, there is no taste difference whatsoever. The chocolate chunks? Are exactly that. Chunks of semi-sweet chocolate! So yummy! I have found my new favorite cookie, thanks, Back To Nature!

My Thoughts

I love getting Degusta Box US every month to review. The products are a complete surprise and I am always happy with my goodies. November is packed with products to help make a delicious and memorable Thanksgiving dinner! The seasoning, the chicken broth.. both perfect for making a delicious turkey! This month's box also has a lot of yummy snacks. I really enjoyed the sample of Turkey Jerky and the Oreo Chocolate Candy Bar! The Shortbread Cookies were good, too! I have always been a huge fan of The Lovely Candy Co. and these caramels were creamy and delish! All-in-all, $20 for this box is so worth it. It's so fun to try new things before actually buying them. I highly recommend Degusta Box USA!

Barilla Perfect Pasta Party!

 

Welcome to A Sampling Bee! Today, I share with you my Barilla Perfect Pasta Party! Barilla was nice enough to send me an awesome party pack. My party pack Included 24 packages of their Ready Pastas, 4 jars of sauces and pesto, 10 lunch boxes and 10 coupon booklets. Barilla's Ready Pasta allows busy parents, like me, to cook a delicious meal and have it ready quickly. The Ready Pasta comes in pouches that can be put right into the microwave. Microwave for 60 seconds and the pasta is ready to eat!

 

Barilla's Ready Pasta is fully cooked. To prepare, squeeze the pouch to loosen up the pasta. Tear top to vent prior to cooking. Microwave for 60 seconds. Pouch will be hot. Use cool touch zones when handling. Add your favorite ingredients and enjoy!

 

 

Barilla's Ready Pasta is all-natural and made with 3 simple ingredients- a dash of extra virgin olive oil, a pinch of sea salt and "al dente" Barilla pasta. For my party, I made pouches of Barilla Penne Ready Pasta, a salad and my favorite, Chicken Parmigiana! I used Barilla's Marinara Sauce to make the chicken parmigiana and it turned out SO good! I love their Marinara Sauce. I loved the fact that I did not have to add any butter or oil to the Ready Pasta. After reading the package, I noticed that the pouch already contains an extra virgin olive oil. My sons loved it right out of the package!

 

I made all of my guests these prize packs to take home with them! All-in-all, we had a great time! I am a huge fan of Barilla's Ready Pasta. It's delicious and super easy to prepare. I love that I can take a pouch of pasta and quickly make it my own. The pasta cooks nicely and is not over cooked or under cooked. Barilla put just the right amount of extra virgin olive oil on the pasta. The pasta can be eaten right out of the bag. But, we like to add some butter and mozzarella cheese to the top of it. The convenient pouches are great for lunches, traveling or for quick weekday meals. I highly recommend these Ready Pastas!
