My Thoughts

 

NOW Women's Probiotic 20 Billon has helped me so much. After taking one capsule a day for 30 days, I feel like I have more energy and I feel less bloated and gassy. I have tried several other brands and I have not been as happy with them. NOW's Probiotics have been the best probiotics. The capsules are small and easy to swallow. When my body feels regular, I tend to eat less and a lot healthier. If there is any question to whether or not NOW's Probiotics work, I can truly say, after experience, that the sure to work! I highly recommend!

My Thoughts

This is an Italian lovers box! The Degusta Box this month is full of Italian goodies. Including a jar of tomatoes, a box of pasta, pesto sauce and Sfilati! This month's box contained everything to make a quick and delicious homemade meal. I used the pasta and pesto to make the recipe that came in my Degusta Box- Barilla Farfalle with Basil Pesto, Broccoli and Sausage. YUM! It was SO good! My Thoughts

Hilary's Veggie Bites are delicious and full of flavor! They make for a great appetizer as well as a great snack. I love the Mediterranean flavor on top of my salad! These bites are great because they are ready to eat in under 15 minutes(when using the stovetop cooking method) and they are low in sodium and calories. Three veggie bites are 100-120 calories. They are also so versatile. Eat them by themselves, or add toppings, such as salsa, to the top of them! The veggie bites are moist and easy to nibble on. They melt in my mouth and are pop-able. My favorite veggie bite flavor is the Mediterranean. So yummy! Looking for something healthy to snack on?? Grab some of Hilary's Veggie Bites!

Bulu Box is a great subscription box. For those who love receiving healthy, all-natural products, this is the box for you. The items that I received were all great. Especially the Molly's Suds- my favorite product in this month's box. I also liked the bath bomb. I love a nice, relaxing bath and this bath bomb made me free super relaxed. Smells good, too! I have been taking the Vitamin D3 capsules and Pro-Women capsules daily and I like them! Last but not least, is the honey and hemp stick. Yum! It was great right out of straw as well as in my tea! Bulu also has a weight loss box available for $10 a month.

My Thoughts

LOTS of yummy goodies in my Low Kalz box! I really enjoyed the Terra Chips and the Sparkling Water. I like this idea of a low calorie snack box because I can feel less guilty about snacking. I can grab a snack as I am walking out the door and know that I didn't grab something unhealthy. I like this idea also because my family gets to try new snacks before having to buy them. I'd rather get a sample rather than buy a whole box only to not like what I bought. It was my first time trying all of the products in this box. And they were all really good! I highly recommend!

My Thoughts

The bite-sized frozen treats are so refreshing! They are the perfect after dinner treat. I love them because they're pop-able, delicious and safe for everyone to enjoy. My favorite is the salted caramel. If I didn't read the label on these ice creams, I would have never known that they are dairy-free. They taste just as good, if not better, than ice cream that contains dairy. The pints are great, too. Creamy vanilla ice cream with yummy caramel, strawberry or fudge. My favorite pint flavor is the Strawberry Sundae. So good! I love adding a scoop of Fudge Swirl to the top of a warm brownie! All-in-all, Incredible Foods' ice creams are, well, INCREDIBLE! I highly recommend them! If you are throwing a summer party and not sure if any of your guests have allergies, grab some of these treats!

Background: Regina is tending Marius after he competes in an illegal fight…

She stepped back. “You’ll do. I suppose you know a hot shower when you get home is the best remedy, on top of the ibuprofen you just took. Though I’d highly recommend a tetanus update and having your head examined.”

He kept staring at her. He wanted to make her nervous with his silence. Tough luck with that, boy, she thought. You want to self-gag, it doesn’t bother me.

Answering in kind, she tossed one final wipe into the trash and headed for the door. Embracing her Mistress side meant understanding there was an energy flow between Dom and sub once a connection was made, even if the connection was the rope in a tug of war. She rode that energy how it was meant to be ridden, not forcing her own expectations on it. It worked better that way. She’d accomplished what mattered most to her here, which was confirming he’d finally released that surfeit of potent energy from his session at the club earlier in the night. He was leveling out. While he could likely use a lot more aftercare, they were quite a distance from him earning that kind of treatment from her.

“You don’t want to talk about what happened in Tyler’s office?” he said abruptly. “Or why you followed me here?”

“No.” She continued to move toward the opening that would lead back to the ring area and then the parking lot. She didn’t need or want to stay any longer. She didn’t anticipate that he would do or say anything to hold her there longer, so it was a pleasant surprise when he did.

“You didn’t say what you thought of the fight.”

She pivoted and met his gaze. “No, I didn’t. Would you like to know?”

He could look wary, like an animal being baited into a trap. He had thick, dark lashes. His gray eyes were like the mirror surface of a lake. “Yeah,” he said at last.

“Okay.” She returned to him. There was a pen sitting next to the tray of gauze. Picking it up, she extended her hand, looking pointedly at one of his. When he offered it, she clasped his wrist and wrote an address on the inside of his forearm, along with Friday, 6:30pm.

His fingers flexed above her grip and she was aware of his breath stirring tendrils of hair against her cheek. Her hip pressed against his knee. She imagined sliding between his spread thighs, tasting the metallic flavor lingering on his lips, feeling the flex of his shoulder muscles under her splayed fingers and firm palms. His hands would curve over her hips, his own fingers digging in, showing he wanted and needed her.

Careful, girl, she thought. Don’t screw with your own head. He’ll do enough of that without your help.

“Meet me there and I’ll tell you.” Setting the pen aside, she laid a hand on the side of his face. His gaze lifted to her. “Get some rest. Take care of yourself.”

When he started to lift his hand to clasp her arm, she drew back and shook her head, a denial. His lips set in a thin line. “That a command, Mistress?” he asked tonelessly.

“Take it however you want.”

He curled his fingers around the edge of the table, body leaning forward, eyes suddenly cold and hard. “It wouldn’t matter, anyway, since you don’t really like me.”

“No. I don’t,” she responded frankly. “But I care about you. That doesn’t require that I like you.”

I enjoyed reading Joey's new book. I don't want to give anything away, but it's a page turner. I read the whole book within a few days. Every chance I got, I read the book. Welcome to A Sampling Bee! Today, I share with you Hungry Harvest. Hungry Harvest is a produce delivery service that delivers recovered produce right to your door. What do they mean by "recovered?" Recovered produce comprises fruit and vegetables that are perfectly fine to eat, but would have been thrown away. These fruits and vegetables are often discarded due to aesthetic imperfections or logistical inefficiencies(when grocery stores order too much). Hungry Harvest believes no food should go to waste and no person should go hungry. For every delivery, Hungry Harvest will subsidize 1-2 pounds of produce for families living in food deserts through their Produce in a SNAP site.

Hungry Harvest currently delivers to Maryland, DC, Philadelphia, South New Jersey and Northern Virginia. Get fresh and delicious produce delivered on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. Whichever you prefer. You can also personalize your harvest by letting Hungry Harvest know what kinds of fruits and vegetables you prefer. Hungry Harvest offers USDA certified organic harvests. They can be found HERE. Their other harvests are not 100% organic but they are consciously sourced. Hungry Harvest will send you a weekly "This weeks harvest" email to you so that you know what will be in your harvest. Hungry Harvest also offers add-ons. Like  recovered sliced bread, coffee and fresh eggs!

My Thoughts

I love Hungry Harvest and everything they stand behind. I love the fact that they do everything they can in order to recover these fruits and veggies. By what I saw in my harvest, I see no reason at all for these fruits and veggies to be discarded. There was absolutely nothing wrong with any of my harvest. To be honest, the fruits and veggies that I got are way better than what I can get at my local grocers.
Everything was crisp and fresh. It was so easy for me to whip up a delicious salad with the ingredients in my harvest box. Recipe below:

Kale & Tomato Salad with Poppy Seed Dressing

 

 

Ingredients

 

Kale

Broccoli

Tomato

Poppy seed dressing

 

Directions

 

1.Wash kale, broccoli and tomato.

2. Chop kale(or break apart with hands) into bite size pieces. Removing the stem.

3. Cut tomato and broccoli into small pieces.

4. Add kale, broccoli and tomato to a dish.

5. Cover with your favorite dressing. I used Brianna's Poppy Seed Dressing.

6. Enjoy!
