My Thoughts

I love getting Degusta Box US every month to review. The products are a complete surprise and I am always happy with my goodies. November is packed with products to help make a delicious and memorable Thanksgiving dinner! The seasoning, the chicken broth.. both perfect for making a delicious turkey! This month's box also has a lot of yummy snacks. I really enjoyed the sample of Turkey Jerky and the Oreo Chocolate Candy Bar! The Shortbread Cookies were good, too! I have always been a huge fan of The Lovely Candy Co. and these caramels were creamy and delish! All-in-all, $20 for this box is so worth it. It's so fun to try new things before actually buying them. I highly recommend Degusta Box USA!

Barilla Perfect Pasta Party!

 

Welcome to A Sampling Bee! Today, I share with you my Barilla Perfect Pasta Party! Barilla was nice enough to send me an awesome party pack. My party pack Included 24 packages of their Ready Pastas, 4 jars of sauces and pesto, 10 lunch boxes and 10 coupon booklets. Barilla's Ready Pasta allows busy parents, like me, to cook a delicious meal and have it ready quickly. The Ready Pasta comes in pouches that can be put right into the microwave. Microwave for 60 seconds and the pasta is ready to eat!

 

Barilla's Ready Pasta is fully cooked. To prepare, squeeze the pouch to loosen up the pasta. Tear top to vent prior to cooking. Microwave for 60 seconds. Pouch will be hot. Use cool touch zones when handling. Add your favorite ingredients and enjoy!

 

 

Barilla's Ready Pasta is all-natural and made with 3 simple ingredients- a dash of extra virgin olive oil, a pinch of sea salt and "al dente" Barilla pasta. Ready Pasta does not contain any preservatives and they are non-GMO certified. Ready Pasta is available in 4 different pastas: Rotini, Penne, Elbows & Gemelli.

 

For my party, I made pouches of Barilla Penne Ready Pasta, a salad and my favorite, Chicken Parmigiana! I used Barilla's Marinara Sauce to make the chicken parmigiana and it turned out SO good! I love their Marinara Sauce. I loved the fact that I did not have to add any butter or oil to the Ready Pasta. After reading the package, I noticed that the pouch already contains an extra virgin olive oil. My sons loved it right out of the package!

 

I made all of my guests these prize packs to take home with them! All-in-all, we had a great time! I am a huge fan of Barilla's Ready Pasta. It's delicious and super easy to prepare. I love that I can take a pouch of pasta and quickly make it my own. The pasta cooks nicely and is not over cooked or under cooked. Barilla put just the right amount of extra virgin olive oil on the pasta. The pasta can be eaten right out of the bag. But, we like to add some butter and mozzarella cheese to the top of it. The convenient pouches are great for lunches, traveling or for quick weekday meals. I highly recommend these Ready Pastas!

These yummy chips come in both fruits and veggies. Natural Sins Chips contain only 2 ingredients: the fruit or veggie and pure cane sugar. Natural Sins is changing the way we snack by offering a healthy alternative to the potato chip. Natural Sins Chips are a healthy snack that the whole family can enjoy. My sons LOVE them!

Natural Sins processes all of their Costa Rican fruit and veggie chips by hand. After searching for the best fruits and veggies, they hand slice the fruits and veggies 1/4mm thick, sprinkle them with pure cane sugar and then bake them low and slow. When opening a hand-packed bag of Natural Sins, you will be able to enjoy crispy slices of whole fruit. Natural Sins Chips come in 4 yummy flavors: Coconut, Mango, Pineapple and Beets.

My Thoughts

Natural Sins Chips are amazingly good! I was surprised at how thin they are sliced and the amount of flavor that is in them. My favorite chips are definitely the Mango Chips. They are sliced so thin, crunchy and coated with just the right amount of sugar. I can devour the whole bag in one sitting and I know that they are healthy for me. One bag is not enough and I tend to find myself tearing open another bag. ;)  I love coconut chips because they contain so much more less sugar than other brands coconut chips and they are delish! The beet chips are good, but I am not a big beet fan. Can't get past the dirty flavor. But, for someone who loves Beets, try these chips! The pineapple chips are so so good. I am a hue pineapple fan! One thing I noticed about Natural Sins Chips is that when slicing, they did not cut off the outer skin. Natural Sins left the fruits and veggies just the way they are. And, I think by leaving the skin on, it gave the chips that much more flavor and crispiness. I highly recommend Natural Sins. Throw those yucky potato chips away and grab a healthy, all-natural bag of Natural Sins Chips!

My Thoughts

Trisha's Toffee is excellent! It's rich, crunchy, full of flavor and absolutely does not stick in my teeth! My favorite flavor is the Milk Chocolate Sea Salt. This flavor is perfect with just the right amount of salt. My taste buds are craving some right now! It's very noticeable that these toffees are made with only the best, high quality ingredients. And, I love how the toffee is made fresh-to-order! With the holidays coming up, Trisha's Almond Toffee makes a wonderful gift! Stocking stuffer, too!
