November's "Movie Night" Degusta Box USA Review

 

Hi there! Guess what?? I got my November box this month and I noticed that the outside of the box was different. Degusta Box USA got a brand new design and it looks amazing! Love it! Well, this month's theme is Movie Night. It's packed with 9 different snacks that we munched on while enjoying one of our favorite films. See what's inside below!

Popcorn, Indiana's Black & White Drizzlecorn is the best kettle corn/drizzled popcorn that I have ever had! The popcorn is sweet and chocolately. The popcorn is covered in both white and dark chocolate. Drizzlecorn is sweet and has a touch of saltiness. Love this popcorn- a lot!

Pearsons Candy Company Mint Patties and Coconut Patties are the perfect bite-sized chocolates. The Mint Patties are filled with a creamy mint center and covered in delicious dark chocolate. The coconut patties are filled with coconut and coated in a rich, dark chocolate. These little chocolates are super good! I really enjoyed the coconut patties.

Bauducco's Panettone is a traditional Italian holiday cake that is filled of sweet raisins. This month's box contained the mini version- which is perfect for enjoying on-the-go. I enjoyed a slice of this delicious, moist cake with a hot cup of tea!

Grand Belgian Specialties assorted chocolate box came with 16 pure Belgium chocolates. This product was by far my favorites. These chocolates were amazing! Yes, we ate them ALL! And, very quickly! :) Each of the 16 chocolates are completely different and they are made with white, dark and milk chocolate. Can't wait to get my hands on more of these!

Bush's Best Bean Dips are tasty and packed with tons of flavor. Bush's Bean Dips are low in sodium, trans fat free and have no added sugar. I got the black bean dip in my box. This dip was really good! I tried it with pretzels and tortilla chips. It's loaded with chunky beans. A great dip to pour on top of nachos or to just eat out of the container!

PopCorners Kettle Corn Chips are made with non-GMO corn that is grown right here in the US. These triangle shaped chips are both sweet and salty. Super crunchy, too! I loved these chips, a lot!

Chickpea Mac & Cheese is comfort food, yet made healthier! This mac & cheese is made with chickpea lentil pasta which is gluten-free! The cheese is 100% organic and nutritious. I couldn't tell that this mac & cheese was made with chickpeas! It is SO tasty! My kids loved it, too!

Wholesome Goodness Tuxedo Mix is a mix of yogurt covered raisins and peanuts, dark chocolate soy nuts and infusion roasted peanuts. My husband devoured this mix. And, I know why. Because, its so good! The mix is crunchy and the yogurt and chocolate flavors give the mix a nice flavor.

Nutiva's Organic Culinary Oils are great. I love cooking with them! I think its just so much more healthier than cooking with butter. Plus, when I use this coconut oil, I don't have problems with my food sticking to the pan! The buttery flavor is the best on top of popcorn. Nutiva makes really high quality coconut oils. Love these!

My Thoughts

November's box rocked! This theme was so so great and I hope that Degusta Box USA does a box like this again soon. My whole family enjoyed this months box. There was something for everyone in it. Ellie Claire Art Journals Review

 

 

 

Hey, all! I received some amazing journals in the mail a few days ago and I am so excited to share them with you! Even though I have a smart phone, I still prefer to write things down. Everything! I just cant get into the habit of opening up notes on my phone and start typing. I so prefer to have pen and paper handy. That's why, when I got contacted to review Ellie Claire's journals, I was so excited!

I received 3 of her amazing journals to review:

Illuminate Your Story- which is full of illuminated letters and how to create them. These is also a keepsakes folder in the back of the journal. It also has a place to put a pen/pencil on the outside binding.

Faith & Lettering- This journal is very bright and colorful. This specific journal was designed so you can practice prompts and to grow your lettering skills. It's full of pages to write, doodle and to practice your lettering. This journal also has a loop on the outside binding to hold a pen/pencil.

The Illustrated Word- An illuminated coloring journal that has lined pages as well as pages to color. It also contains quotes and sayings.

Ellie Claire's Art Journals are unlike any other journal that I have owned before. Her journals are full of beautiful art! They also contain quotes, which I absolutely love! Each quote is an inspiring quote that keeps me going. One of my favorites in the Faith & Lettering Journal is, "The shortest pencil is longer than the longest memory."

 

My Thoughts

I plan on using these journals for myself. Mainly to write down things that I don't want to forget. Things like events or activities that I enjoyed with my kiddos. Each journal is made with high quality paper that is both thick and sturdy. My favorite out of the 3 is the Faith & Lettering journal. I was excited about this journal because I have been wanting to try out lettering. This journal allows me to do just that. I also love it because its bright and colorful and it has the best quotes in it! Gift these journals for Christmas! They make great gifts!

Smart Sweets Sour Blast Buddies were gobbled up by my three year old. He absolutely loved these cute, little sour gummies. Mom loved them too, because they are not loaded with tons of sugar! Smart Sweets Buddies are plant-based, high in fiber, low in carbs and contain no artificial sweeteners. They are sweetened with Stevia Leaf Extract. I didn't mind enjoying these juicy, fruit flavored gummies myself. They were good! And of course super sour!

Pandora's Pops Pumpkin Spice lollipop is full of pumpkin flavor! It was like enjoying a piece of pumpkin pie on a stick! I liked the lollipop because it reminded me of fall. Which is my favorite season. These lollipops are made with Organic Pumpkin, spices, Organic Acacia Fiber and essential oils. They are sweetened with GMO-free Xylitol.

Bhu Fit Primal's Grass-Fed Whey Protein Bar is loaded with salted caramel and pecan. This protein bar was very good. I definitely tasted both the caramel and pecan flavors. I had this bar for breakfast one morning and it kept me full until lunchtime. Bhu Fit Primal's protein bars are sweetened with Monk Fruit.

The Quest Protein Snickerdoodle Cookie was one of my favorite products this month. I was amazed by how much it actually tasted like a homemade snickerdoodle cookie. This cookie was very moist and melted in my mouth. So good! Quest Protein's cookies are sweetened with erythritol and Stevia.

Devotion Nutrition Flex Flavors can be added to anything that needs some delicious flavor. These instant flavoring packets are great for adding flavor to drinks or food. I enjoyed adding these to smoothies. Especially the Monster Cookie and the Pumpkin Pie flavors! These Flex Flavors are really good! They are sweetened with Stevia.

Devotion Nutrition Brownie Batter Protein Powder is like eating a blended brownie. This protein mix was one of the best protein mixes that I have ever had! OMG, it was good! Definitely kept me full and satisfied until lunchtime. This protein powder is sweetened with Sucralose & Ace K.

Hi-Fi Bar Pumpkin Spice Orange Granola went so well with a little vanilla yogurt. Opening the package, the smell of fall hit my nose and I immediately grabbed a handful of granola. It's like edible fall, in a bag! I loved the crunchy granola and almonds. One of the best granolas that I have had! It is sweetened with Monk Fruit Juice.

Nush Foods Cakes have been in the past few Sleek Treat boxes. I am not complaining because I love them! October's box contained two different flavors: Cherry Almond & Blueberry. These cakes are moist, flavorful, full of real fruits and so satisfying. I love eating these for breakfast or as a dessert. Sweetened with Monk Fruit Extract.

My Thoughts

October's Monster Mash themed box was great! Yet, I would have like to see a few more Halloween themed snacks inside the box. Maybe some more candies or a Halloween themed dessert. BUT, I enjoyed every single snack and treat in October's box. My favorite being the granola. Can't wait to see what Sleek Treat has in store for November's Box! Stay tuned!

My Thoughts

Grab the Gold Snack Bars are moist, chewy and full of flavor. I love them because they are made with simple, healthy ingredients. I love how these bars are full of healthy oats. But, I would like to mention that some of those oats tend to be a bit on the hard side. So be careful if you have sensitive teeth. Other than that, these bars are very good. We love both flavors. The Peanut Butter & Jelly flavor tastes just like a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Just without the slices of bread!
