GrandBox A Subscription Box for Grandma & Grandpa

Hey there! Welcome to A Sampling Bee Blog. As you may already know, I am a lover of subscription boxes. Over the past few years, I have reviewed quite a few boxes. But, I have not come across a box like GrandBox yet. GrandBox is a monthly subscription box that is designed for Grandma and Grandpa. Send one of these cute subscription box to a distant loved one to let them know that you are thinking of them.

Each month, the boxes have a new theme. This boxes was themed "Winter Wonderland." In this box, there were a lot of awesome goodies:

A Jumbo Crossword Book in large print. This is a great way to spend an afternoon inside when it's cold outside. I love crosswords. They're so fun to do and so relaxing.

A Spiced Mug Mat from Alice's Cottage. This cute mug mat is made in the USA and they give off a wonderful spiced scent! Great for holding my coffee or hot cocoa. It's a cute addition to my coffee table.

MoMe Choc-o-lait makes the best Belgium hot cocoa, on a stick! I love this idea. Enjoying a hot cup of cocoa has never been more delicious and easier! Just add the stick to hot milk and stir!

The Ritter Sport Chocolate Butter Biscuit was so good! A thin biscuit covered in milk chocolate. What's better than that! I really enjoyed this treat.

Menthol Eucalyptus mints from Snowflakes Candy Mints are all natural, sugar-free and fat-free.

Christmas Light Hankies from Caspari Hankies are super cute! The packet came with 10, 4-ply hankies/tissues. They are soft but not meant for the nose. If I wiped my nose with these all of the time, I'd have one raw nose. These, to me, are more meant for a napkin. Love the cute design though!

My Thoughts

I think this box is such a wonderful idea.  I love that GrandBox allows you to put photos and personalized letters inside of each month's box. I feel that adding a few photos and a cute note just gives it a sweet personal touch. Great for keeping in touch if there are miles between you and your loved ones. GrandBox is only $33 a month. Which I think is a great price. You can't put a price on your grandparents. :) GrandBox is also a great gift for my sons to send to their grandparents. There was a great selection of goodies in the Winter Wonderland box!

What do you think of GrandBox? Would you like to send one of their boxes to a loved one?

December's Degusta Box USA Subscription Box Review

Hey! How is your New Year going?? I wanted to get this post for December's Degusta Box USA up sooner, but the time just flies! And, with two hyper kiddos, I am always occupied by something. With that said, I am always looking for quick snacks or drinks to grab as I'm heading out the door, or for putting into my son's lunch box. Degusta Box USA gets delivered to my door each month, and inside are 9-14 full-sized goodies. Every month there is always new and exciting products that I get to try with my family. We love it! See what was inside December's Box below.

Garden of Life bars are clean and simple bars that can be enjoyed for breakfast or as a snack. I got the Maple Sea Salt flavor in my box and it was SO good! It smells like a stack of pancakes and tastes like maple syrup and protein powder. This bar is super soft and chewy. Love it!

G.H. Cretors The Mix Popped Corn contains two of my favorite popcorn flavors: buttery caramel and aged cheddar cheese. This popcorn is 100% addicting. I kept reaching into the bag to get another handful. I have always been a fan of sweet & salty together and this popcorn really satisfies my sweet/salty craving. The Mix popcorn is one of the best popcorns that I have had.

SunSpire SunDrops are really good chocolates. I got a bag of dark chocolate SunDrops in my box. They are SO good! I have plans to add them into my homemade trail mix. These little dark chocolate gems really surprised me as to how tasty they are.

Campfire Marshmallows are great for baking, snacking and putting on top of hot cocoa. I have had this brand of marshmallow before and they are one of my favorites. I love the convenient snack packs that are available. I often buy the snack packs. Every Christmas I make Christmas Eve boxes with a package of hot cocoa, a snack pack of Campfire Mini Marshmallows and other goodies.

Chef Paul Prudhomme's Magic Seasoning Blends can be sprinkled on top of anything. When tasting this seasoning blend for the first time, I definitely got notes of onion, garlic and delicious herbs. Its a very flavorful seasoning that goes get on chicken!

Hu Chocolates are made with no weird ingredients, ever! These bars are free from dairy, palm oil, emulsifiers, soy lecithin, refined sugar, gluten, cane sugar and sugar alcohols. I got the Crunchy Mint Dark Chocolate flavor in my box.

Vahdam Teas has really good teas. I have a huge tea fan so I was so excited to try these. My favorite flavor is the Chamomile Mint Citrus Green. I really enjoyed this sampler pack of teas!

Dave's Gourmet Creamy Ginger Citrus Hot Sauce goes so well on wings! This sauce is super creamy and HOT! It's one zesty sauce that can be used on anything.

Bahlsen Iced Cinnamon Stars are super soft cookies that taster just like cinnamon and sugar. The icing on the top is light and makes the cookies taste so good! I love Bahlsen's products but every product that I've tried in my Degusta Boxes I can't find in my local grocers. All of their products are amazing!

Chimes Ginger Chews have a very light ginger taste to them. They are super chewy. I love having ginger around. Especially when I am nauseous or dizzy. Which I sometimes have due to vertigo.

Each box comes with an information sheet and this month there was a delicious recipe on the back! For Braised Chicken Thighs!

My Thoughts

December's box was amazing! I really loved all of the goodies this month. I can't really decide which one is my favorite because I loved them all. Degusta Box is worth every penny because the boxes are always full! Most of the items in their boxes are full sized! Buying the products at your local grocer would cost way more than buying a Degusta Box. SUBSCIBE today! It's only $19.99 a month!
